This is the very last hold out in the garden. All of the other veggies have been picked, the vines have started to wither and fall is coming quickly. I hope this Hubbard has time to ripen! It's not nearly as big as the other one (7 pounds at harvest) but will make a nice baked stuffed squash. The big one is destined to be a pie, I think, if I can find a knife big enough to cut it open!
My garden is starting towards the end also. I do have still quite a bit of tomatoes but they are starting to lay on the ground and the snails are getting them and I still have to pick my pumpkins and then all done. It was a good garden year, I got a lot canned, I hope for you too!
