This is the very last hold out in the garden. All of the other veggies have been picked, the vines have started to wither and fall is coming quickly. I hope this Hubbard has time to ripen! It's not nearly as big as the other one (7 pounds at harvest) but will make a nice baked stuffed squash. The big one is destined to be a pie, I think, if I can find a knife big enough to cut it open!

The last veggie
This is the very last hold out in the garden. All of the other veggies have been picked, the vines have started to wither and fall is coming quickly. I hope this Hubbard has time to ripen! My garden is starting towards the end also. I do have still quite a bit of tomatoes but they are starting to lay on the ground and the snails are getting them and I still have to pick my pumpkins and then all done. It was a good garden year, I got a lot canned, I hope for you too!
