Newborn Spinach

I decided that the easiest thing to try and grow in the cold frame would be the cold-hardy spinach. I figured that even if it never got full grown, it's better picked and eaten when little. So far, it's gotten to the "really tiny" stage. I'm so PROUD!

  1. Your tiny spinach plants look happy in the cold frame you built, Jess. Your "green thumb" will surely be put to the test with this new gardening venture. Good luck!

  3. This is my first year growing vegetables! My goal was to grow at least one edible thing, and I actually was successful with snap peas, cherry tomatoes, and peppers. I'm already planning next year's garden, and still watching the greens growing in the cold frame.
